Me interesa estudiar la dinámica de los procesos cerebrales involucrados en la atención orientada internamente y su repercusión en la conducta humana.

Utilizando los métodos y técnicas de la neurociencia cognitiva y la psicología experimental, mi investigación se ha centrado en estudiar los procesos de imaginación y pensamientos auto-generados, y cómo estos influyen en la sensación y percepción del entorno, así como su rol en procesos más abstractos y complejos, como la planeación de futuro y la creatividad.

También he investigado las bases neurofisiológicas que distinguen la atención externa/interna, estudiando procesos como la interocepción y las representaciones visuo-espaciales en la memoria de trabajo.

Actualmente también estoy trabajando en estudiar las bases neurofisiológicas de la Respuesta Sensorial Meridiana Autónoma y el Tacto afectivo.
